If you’re in management, you know how critically important every hire and staff placement is. Get it right and your company soars. Get it wrong and the company pays dearly.
That’s why Profiles to Partners makes perfect sense. It includes everything we do with one goal in mind. Ensure you select the right person for the job - the first time.
Our research and experience has proven that the most effective and successful placements are the result of a two-way discovery and evaluation process in which the organization and the candidates "discover" what they need to know to evaluate each other and make a successful and lasting decision. Unfortunately, very few organizations approach key placement decisions in this way and they experience mismatches, poorer than expected performance, poor fit with the organization, and high turnover. The Profile...to Partners Candidate Match eValuation Process is the solution.
The 5 Steps
Our Profile...to Partners Candidate Match eValuation Process includes 5 Steps that maximize the probability of achieving a strong candidate match or "fit" when organization placement decisions are made. The 5 Steps are:
1. Setting up the discovery - The process begins with a thorough review and documentation of the open position, its importance in the organization, performance expectations, challenges, and requirements. This exploration leads to a complete description of the ideal candidate. We also collect company and position information that the candidate will need. All of this information is used to create the screening tools, forms, questionnaires, job simulations, assessment profiles, selection criteria, and evaluation forms required for a successful matching process.
2. Developing the candidate pool - The data from Step 1 is used to identify the best sources from which to attract potential match candidates and to create the ads/notices that will be used. Once a flow of "applicants" is started, criteria developed in Step 1 are used screen applicants to identify high potential "candidates". Only the candidates that clearly have potential for a match move forward in the process.
3. Discover the potential for a match - Candidates selected in Step 2 are invited to participate in a two-way "Discovery" process in which the candidates are provided information they need about the company, the position, the environment, the culture, and the organization's expectations. The company collects data about the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, behavioral tendencies, personality, interests, and motivations. Throughout this step the company and the candidate get to know more about each other.
4. Evaluation of the match - While the company is reviewing and evaluating all of the candidate data collected and comparing how well each of the candidates being consider fit, the candidate is evaluating how well the company and position meet their needs and expectations.
5. Decisions - The final step of the process involves the company making its final selection of the candidate that best matches the position, making an offer to that candidate, and the candidate making a decision about whether the company and position are the best fit for him/her.
Our Web-based 3-D System - The process is built upon a proprietary web-based platform that we call the 3-D (Develop - Discover - Decide) System. All of the forms, screening tools, reports, and assessments required for the core steps of our process are provided on this custom-designed, highly secure web platform. Our 3-D System allows us to provide a highly efficient information sharing process, 24/7 access for the company and the candidates, real time responses and reporting, and a thorough, highly consistent and objective process.
You’ll be satisfied with our process…we guarantee it!
The process used in Profiles…to Partners is in-depth and intensive. It’s a proprietary system. You won’t find anything else like it. Better yet, it works. And we stand behind it. If the candidate is removed for cause or leaves within the first 90 days (applicable to Tier 3 only) of employment, we’ll “Discover” a new candidate at no cost.
